Dec 22, 2009, the SOA standard workgroup of National Information Standardization Committee was built in Beijing. CVIC SE Business Middleware Co., Ltd. which is the founding member was nominated as the vice director member.

As China’s leading middleware products and services provider, CVIC SE Middleware Co., Ltd. focuses on the standards researching and building, and participates into many national and international standards building activities. The joint lab of CVIC SE and the National University of Defense Technology has been accepted as a platform level member of Object Management Group (OMG). Many submitted technologies of the Lab have been adopted by OMG. CVIC SE is also the strategic member as well as the only founding enterprise member in China of OW2 which is the largest international open source middleware organization.

With the responsibility of building China SOA standards and promoting the coordinate national and international SOA standards, the main tasks of SOA standards workgroup are including organizing countrywide SOA standard application and promotion, improving relevant industrial SOA standardization, undertaking SOA international standardization of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC7 SG-SOA ISO/IEC JTC1/SC38 WG-SOA
