November 2000, approved by the State Ministry of Personnel, the CVIC SE Post-doctoral Scientific Research Station was established.

January 2001, CVIC SE was authorized to be one of the first groups of Double-Software Enterprises by the State Ministry of Information Industry.

April 2001, CVIC SE, for the first time, is ranked among the Top 100 Electronic & Information Enterprises in China.

March 2002, “CVIC SE Talents Prize” received approval from state accreditation.

March 2002， Chairman & CEO Jing Xinhai was listed among China's Top Ten IT Company Leaders.

May 2002, CVIC (Kunshan) Engineering Co., Ltd. was registered.

June 2002, CVIC SE was granted the qualification to contract the integrated engineering system concerning communication, toll & monitoring systems of expressway.

December 2002, CVIC SE Business Middleware Co., Ltd. was established; and Shandong Middleware Industry Base was unveiled at CVIC SE.

March 2003, The CVIC SE management team was honored as “The Best Software Team in China.”

July 2003, Basic Principles of CVIC SE were released and put into implementation.

August 2003, CVIC SE passed the CMM 3 international appraisal, making itself the first software enterprise in China which has great ability of following international practices regarding both quality management and project management.

November 2003, CVIC SE was among the first group of enterprises accredited by the SJ/T11234 and SJ/T11235 of the State Ministry of Information Technology.

December 2003, CVIC SE was listed as the Key Software Enterprises under the National Layout Jointly approved by the National Development & Reform Commission, Ministry of Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation, and State Administration of Taxation.

March 2004, CVIC SE was granted the title of “Class A Model Enterprise Regarding Exportation of Software to Europe and America.”

March 2004, CVIC SE developed cooperation with Peking University in the field of software components.

July 2004, CVIC SE was granted the title of “Star Enterprise in 20 Years of China’s Software.” Chairman & CEO Jing Xinhai was granted the “Prize for Outstanding Contributions to 20 Years of China’s Software.” Infor series middleware products were awarded “Most Valuable Application Software Products of China in 20 Years.”

October 2004, CVIC SE Kunsan Software Park was built.

July 2005, CVIC (Kunshan) Software Engineering Co., Ltd. passed authentication of Software Company Certification.

October 2005, the Software Promotion Center of China Electronic Commerce Association (CECA) was formally unveiled at CVIC (Kunshan) Software Engineering Co., Ltd.

October 2005, the celebration for the 10th Anniversary of CVIC SE Software Fund was ceremoniously held in Beijing.

November 2005, CVIC SE was granted the "IPMA International Project Management Award."

December 2005, CVIC SE was assigned as the Software Technological Center of Electronic & Information Industry of Shandong Province.

February 2006, Chairman & CEO Jing Xinhai won the title of China 2005 Top Ten (Science and Technology) Talents.
