Shandong expressway information project which general contracted by CVICSE, it sets fees and charge, monitoring, communication, the three network in one. It covers more than 4000 kilometers expressway of Shandong Province, it’s the largest motorway information management system of China.

Therein, the first phase of project which includes 1 general information management center, 4 information management centers, 21 information management sub-centers, 110 toll stations, covers totally about 1590km;the second phase of project including 15 subcenters, 70 toll stations covers totally about 1073km.

Project range include charges, monitoring, communication three systems, involved software develop ,hardware procurement, system integration, power supply and distribution, and civil works and so on.It involved more than 150 suppliers, more than thousand people joined. The system was established in 1999,and the size is contiune expanding, now it’s steady running for 9 years. The successful implementation of Shandong expressway information management system project, which took a good economic and social benefit: improve the quality of people travelling, shorten the travel time; increase in toll revenue, improve the effectiveness of expressway; improve the safe operation coefficient, effectively reduce accident rate; at same time, this system have additional access for connection with other provinces’expressway system, and create conditions for form a national unity integrity information network backbone.

During the 19th International Project Management Association (IPMA) World Congress, held in Indian capital New Delhi, ?CVICSE was awarded the top prize of global project management----“ IPMA international project management global award” with the excellence performance in this project. This is also the Chinese IT enterprises gained the highest management award from international community.
