On
June 26th 2001, the signing ceremony of the first-phase construction
contract of the Shandong Expressway Information Management
System was held in CVIC SE's Development Center. The contracted
project was to build charging, communication and monitoring
systems for the first-phase Shandong Expressway Information
Management System which involves three expressways: Lingyi
to Hong Huabu, Rizhao to Zhuyuan, and Liaocheng to Guantao.
The total investment amounted to 27.207 million Yuan RMB.
The Shandong Expressway Information Management System undertaken
by CVIC SE was by far the largest expressway information management
system in China, and was also the first network system covering
the entire province in China.
For years, CVIC SE has researched communication
information system construction. With the use of modern
network communication, computer and multimedia technology,
CVIC SE could provide comprehensive solutions to develop
a sophisticated modern transportation system for China's
highway, railway, and ocean systems. CVIC SE would make
