On
July 16th, a press conference sponsored by the Chinese Project
Management Research Committee, was held in the Beijing Friendship
Hotel. The conference topic was "Professional Development
of Project Management in the 21st Century".
At the meeting, Mr. Jing Xinhai, president and CEO of CVIC
SE, was approved as one of the first three PM assessors in
China. The other two members are Mr. Qian Fupei and Mr. Zhang
Yulin. Representatives also reviewed and discussed PM history
and progress in China. All agreed that PM was a useful management
tool, and hoped to promote rapid PM development in China.
Lian Yungang Green Card Project Passes
the Final Acceptance Test. (2001-7-27)
On July 18th, 2001, the Lian Yungang Postal Finance Computer
Network Project undertaken by CVIC SE successfully passed
the final acceptance test by Jiangsu Postal Saving Bureau.
Officials from Jiang Su Information Technology Bureau, Lian
Yungang Postal Saving Bureau and CVIC SE were present at
the test conference.
The Lian Yungang Green Card Project was
CVIC SE's second green card project in Jiang Su Province,
the first being the Yang Zhou green card project in 1997.
Up until now, 116 net points, 25 ATM and 44 POS's have been
put into service in one city and four counties. Over 90,000
cards have been issued. In September 1999, the Lian Yungang
green card network system was connected to the Jiang Su
Provincial network system, and in the year 2000, it was
connected with the national network system. So you could
use the green card in Lian Yungang
the same as in other places in Jiangsu Province or China.
Customers speak highly of the project for
contracted progress, high-quality deliverables, and professional
service. Mr. Wen Shangzhuo, Vice General-Manager of CVIC
SE, expressed his satisfaction at the cooperation with Jiangsu
Postal Saving Bureau, and he hoped to keep a long-term partnership
with them.
