CVIC SE Wins Bidding for the Major Electronic Development Fund Projects of M.I.I.

On August 10th, CVIC SE won the bidding with the China National Computer Software & Technology Service Corporation, for the Major 2001 Electronic Development Fund Projects of the China Ministry of Information Industry called "Distributed, Object-oriented Middleware Platform Based on CORBA".

The winning affirmed CVIC SE's role as one of the two major middleware product providers and its leading status in the field of application software as well as infrastructure software in China.

Middleware, operating system and database are the three pillars for infrastructure software. Middleware played an important role in large-scale network application system development and integration. The project aimed to develop middleware products, which were fully compliant with J2EE and CORBA standards. The products would be designed based on soft bus and soft components, and provide enterprise-level distributed system integration a multi-functional, reliable, scalable infrastructure platform.
