On
August 8, 2002, CVIC SE signed a contract with the Shandong
Provincial Transportation Department to undertake construction
of the Shandong Transportation Office Information System (STOIS).
STOIS is composed of an OA Intranet of all levels of transportation
sectors, a special network communicating various transportation
sectors, and the Internet. STOIS will greatly improve work
efficiency as well as improve the management level of the
Shandong Provincial Transportation Department. The first phase
of STOIS will invest over US$1.8 million.
Mr. Xu Shaotong, general manager of CVIC
SE, expressed at the signing ceremony, that CVIC SE would
adopt project management, and provide high-quality products
and services for the Shandong Provincial Transportation
Department, to ensure a successful project.
