On April 7, 2003, CVIC SE signed a cooperation agreement with Soochow University to jointly build the Soochow University - CVIC SE Engineering Institute in China Eastern Jiangsu Province. Mr. Qian Peide, President of Soochow University, Mr. Zhu Qiaoming, Dean of Computer Science and Technology College, Soochow University, Mr. Jing Xinhai, President and CEO of CVIC SE, and Ms. Cheng Jianping, Executive Vice General Manager of CVIC SE, attended the ceremony.

The Soochow University - CVIC SE Engineering Institute, will be built in Kunshan's CVIC SE Software Park in a bid to improve the combined strength from universities and enterprises and optimize postgraduate education resources. The institute specializes in fostering high-level software engineering Masters degrees to meet the fast-growing demand. Students will begin to enroll this autumn, and the total number of students is expected to hit 800 to 1000 in three years.
