On August 1st, 2005, Wang Xudong, the Minister of State for the Information Industry Department, accompanied by related Shangdong and Jinan leaders, visited CVIC headquarter. Jing Xinhai, Chairman of Board and CEO of CVIC; Cheng Jianping, Vice Chairman of CVIC; Sun Yinsheng, General Manager of CVIC, accompanied with Minister Wang and other leaders for a visit of the headquarters, as well as report on the development.

The group of Minister Wang visited CVIC software network center, development environment, software development section. Mr. Jing reported on the CVIC development in transportation, finance, e-business, e-government, also research and practice in middleware components. He also introduced the applications of project management and CMM. Minister Wang heard this report carefully, and showed totally affirmation to CVIC as fast growing, also his admiration for CVIC in middleware and the component area research and practice. He said he hopes that CVIC will make a great contribution to our software industry through their own strength.
