CVIC SE Signed New Co-op Agreement
 

CVIC SE, CVIC Software Services Canada Inc. (CVIC SSC) and University of Regina of Canada (UofR) signed a cooperation agreement on October 20th. The three parties agreed to work together in software research and development, information technology project management and training areas. Dr. Jing Xinhai, President and Chairman of Board of CVIC SE, Dr. Larry Symes, President of CVIC SSC and Dr. Allan Cahoon, Vice President of University of Regina signed as representatives. Honourable Eric Cline, Q.C., Minister of Industry and Resources, Saskatchewan, Canada also presented at the ceremony and witnessed the signing.

According to the agreement, CVIC SE agrees to participate in the Co-operative Education Program of the University of Regina. She will act as an industry host for the program and will provide students, from UofR, with an appropriate working environment, accommodation, a monthly stipend and roundtrip travel (Regina/Jinan). UofR agrees to accept two to four staff members each year from CVIC SE as visiting scholars, who have the necessary professional knowledge and English communication skills, for a period of four to twelve months. The parties will cooperate on graduate education for members of CVIC SE's staff in UofR's Graduate Programs, particularly Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Business Administration. Further, they agree to develop a graduate distance education program in Computer Science that will permit CVIC SE staff members, amongst others, to complete half of their program in China.

CVIC SE and UofR has been cooperating since 2001. Based on the results of the agreement signed in 2001, CVIC Software Services Canada Inc. was established in September 2003, so as to develop common Canadian and Northern American markets. This cooperation has a positive effect on improving CVIC SE's staff and horizening their eyesights, which will be of great help to CVIC SE's internationalization. By doing this CVIC SE is quickening its pace in pioneering and expanding international software markets.
