| 8:00AM, April 1st, the driver of one Santana got an Access Card from one Unattended Issue Card machine when passing the Toll Collection Station of the Jinan International Airport, which was witnessed by Yu Shaoming, General Manager of Shandong Infrastructure Company Ltd., Sun Yinsheng, General Manager and Zhu Yong, Marketing Director of CVIC SE, along with many news reporters. This marked the successful debut of the Unattended Issue Card System developed by CVIC SE for the Shandong Expressway.
After the Unattended Issue Card System was successfully applied to the first 2 track lane of the Jinan International Airport Expressway, every driver can easily go through by simply getting a card from the machine at the entrance. This application of such a system can accelerate the speed at which cars pass through the station, improve the service quality of the expressway, as well as relieving stress of a track lane and reducing management costs, which is of great economic and social benefit. Before this, another Unattended Issue Card System, also developed by CVIC SE, was successfully applied to the Expressway of Guangzhou New Baiyun Airport.
Furthermore, the Loading-based Toll Collection System, developed by CVIC SE for the Shandong Expressway, also had its successful implementation at the same time- 8:00AM, April 1st. This kicked off a new toll collection standard for the Shandong Expressway, which is different from the old Km-based Toll Collection System. The new toll collection standard can obviously reduce the number of over-load vehicles. New computer communication and network technologies were adopted by this system, which realizes stable and accurate loading-based toll collection.
