| The Third China (Jinan) International Information Technology Exposition opened in Jinan, the capital of east China’s Shandong Province, on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006. Han Yuqun, Vice Secretary of Shandong provincial committee, Governor of Shandong Province, Sun Shuyi, Chairperson of Shandong People's Political Consultative Conference, Lou Qinjian, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Information Industry, Xu Rigan, Vice-President of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Er Ken Jiang·Tu La Hong, the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, Wang Renyuan, Vice Governor of Shandong Province and Bao Zhiqiang, Mayor of Jinan City were invited to attend the opening ceremony. Jin Xinhai, Chairman of the Board and President of CVIC SE also attended the opening ceremony as an honored guest.
This IT EXPO was hosted by ESCAP(United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific), Chinese Academy of Engineering, Ministry of Information Industry and Shandong Provincial People's Government. More than 300 enterprises from home and abroad took part in the IT EXPO. The total exposition area was up to 20,000 m2.
CVIC SE’s booth took up nearly 200 m2, attracted attention from lots of guests and became the focus of this EXPO. CVIC SE’s vast billboard, outside the exhibition center, gave prominence to the theme of Innovation, Development for 15 years. In the booth area, CVIC SE showed all the guests its advanced and latest solutions, software products and IT services. Its Infor Series middle software caught the eyes of many CTOs and software experts both from government and enterprises. Han Yuqun, Vice Secretary of Shandong provincial committee, Governor of Shandong Province, Lou Qinjian, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Information Industry visited CVIC SE’s booth, along with other government officials, and sang the praises of CVIC SE for its outstanding contribution to the IT industry over the last 15 years.
At this EXPO, CVIC SE signed cooperation agreements, related to technology innovation, market expansion, etc, respectively with NUDT(National University Of Denfense Technology) and GRS (Global Risk System), with Lou Qinjian, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Information Industry and Wang Renyuan, Vice Governor of Shandong Province in attendance to witness the signing of the cooperation agreements.
CVIC SE also took part many other activities, such as Sino-American IT Innovation, Investment and Cooperation Seminar, on which Chairman of the Board and President of CVIC SE Jin Xinhai gave a wonderful speech as the only speaking enterprise representative, 2006 China IT Elites Seminar, The 10th Sino-Japanese Information Service Industry Meeting and so on.
Taking part in this EXPO will enhance CVIC SE’s brand awareness and force, and it will promote the development of its technological innovations, outsourcing cooperation and market expansion.
