February 4th -11th, invited by Japan UEL Company (CVIC SE’s partner on CAD), CVIC SE Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jing Xinhai and vice chairman Cheng Jianping, leading the delegation which includes Meng Xiangxu--Dean of Computer Science and Technology School of Shandong University, Yang Bo – Deputy Dean of Jinan University, and Shandong University Huatian team, participated in CCW (CLUB CADMEISTER WORLDWIDE 2008) conference which was held in Nagoya, Japan.

In May of 2008, CVICSE set up the cooperation with Japanese largest CAD / CAM software development company UEL. To achieve the core technology of international design and manufacturing, CVICSE & Huatian will jointly developed CAD / CAM software system equipped with their own intellectual property rights, through the process of introduction, digestion and absorption of CAD / CAM software CRUX Ⅲ from UEL. At present, the cooperative scheduled assignment has been successfully completed, with SINOVATION 1.0 reaching the release request, and SINOVATION 1.0 will go live soon.

During the visit in Japan, Mr Jing and the whole group took part in the Executive Committee Meeting of the CAD cooperation project, where the project current situation and next step works were discussed and planned. Meanwhile, the group also visited Japan top lathe manufacturer OKUMA which has 110 years history, top plastic manufacturer Tatematsu Mold and Toyota Industry Museum, experienced the development history of Japanese manufacturing through onsite view.

After CCW conference, four-member delegation of CVIC SE paid visits to the world famous automation control and electronic equipment manufacturer - Japan (OMRON) company and other Japanese companies, where consensus on software outsourcing cooperation were reached through a friendly communication.
