On July 27-31, 2009, CVIC SE Chairman and CEO, Mr. Jing Xinhai and Vice Chairman Mrs. Cheng Jianping led a large business delegation to participate the “Cross-Strait Information Services Industry Cooperation & Exchange Conference” in Taipei. They visited many famous Taiwan-based IT companies, and signed cooperative agreement with III(Institute for Information Industry of Taiwan), aiming at further deepening mutual strategic cooperation on talents, innovative IT solutions and outsourcing to achieve greater Cross-Strait cooperation toward global market.

The conference, the largest-ever cross-strait information services exchange, was co-held by III and CCID (China Center for Information Development). The large-scale IT companies from both mainland and Taiwan joined the Cross-Strait summit, such as CVIC SE, Neusoft, Acer, Digiwin Systems, SYSTEX, SYSCOM,Wistron and etc.

In the Cross-Strait summit, CVIC SE delegation conducted wide exchanges with with Taiwanese industry peers, and reached preliminary cooperation intentions. After the summit, CVIC SE delegation visited TRADE-VAN, III, MiTAC, SinoPac Holdings and Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance, and made deep discussions on software outsourcing, testing services, global logistics management, smart city and RFID, in order to lay the foundation for future cooperation.
