On Sept.18-20, 2009, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, “2009 China (Nanhai) Software and Service Outsourcing Industry Summit & 25th anniversary of the founding of China Software Industry Association” were hold successfully in Foshan City, Guangdong Province. On the summit, CSIA awarded the outstanding figures and entrepreneurs for their achievements in driving the development of China IT industry.

Jing Xinhai, Chairman and CEO of CVICSE, was honored as the Meritorious Figure for Driving the IT Industry in China. In addition, Academician Yang Fuqing, Academician Ni Guangnan, Academician Zhang Yaoxue, President Zhang Qi of China Information Industry Trade Association, Director Chen Chong of CSIA and other entrepreneurs, such as Tang Min, Liu Jiren and Wang Wenjing, were also awarded the same special honor. At the same time, CVICSE was awarded the Backbone Enterprise of China IT Industry for its own 18-year sustainable and stable development and its outstanding contribution to China IT industry.

CSIA (China Software Industry Association), established in Sept. 1984, is the only software association in China with the status of an independent legal entity.
