Oct. 22th, Kunshan-CVIC SE-IBM and CCID-Taiwan Institute for Information Industry-CVIC SE-IBM Smart city cooperation strategy was launched in Kunshan.

Mr. Jingyi HONG, Director of China Electronic Information Industry Development Institute, Mr. Renwen GONG, Vice Director of Taiwan Institute for Information Industry, Mr. Jian HUANG, Vice Mayor of Kunshan City, Mr. Alan Ganek, vice president and CTO of IBM Software, Mr. Bete Demeke, Vice President of IBM China and General Manager of IBM Software China, Dr. Yang WANG, Vice President of IBM Global and General manager of IBM China development center, Mr. Xinhai JING, President and CEO of CVIC Software Engineering Co., Ltd, Ms. Jianping CHENG, President of CVICSE Kunshan Ltd. attend the launch ceremony.

In the cooperation strategy, IBM will set the smart city strategy solution development center, lab and service center in Kunshan Software Park(CVIC SE Kunshan Co., Ltd. ). Kunshan government, CVIC SE Kunshan Co., Ltd and IBM will cooperated on smart city informationlization, including e-government, food management, water resources management, smart transportation, public sanitation and health management，city security areas.

In this launch ceremony, CVIC SE, China Electronic Information Industry Development Institute, Taiwan Institute for Information Industry and IBM signed the “Smart City Cooperation Agreement”. In this agreement, the four parties of the agreement will cooperate on various areas, including information construction base building, international business center building, informationization and industrilisation merge building, etc.
