Since 2000, CVIC SE has been in charge of constructing the first and second phases of a WAN for the State Maritime Safety Administration Bureau (MSA). This network covers the MSA, 19 directly subordinate bureaus and more than 100 branch bureaus throughout the country. The system realizes digital operation, network processing and sharing of information with respect to shipping management, crew management, emergencies, navigation safety administration and so on. The construction of this system has greatly enhanced maritime service, safety surveillance and enforcement.
